"Letters of a traveller" (2017)

fineart & photography

We travel over a mirror

without silver,

over a crystal

without cloud.

If the lilies were to grow

upside down,

if the roses were to grow

upside down,

if all the roots

were to face the stars

and the dead not shut

their eyes,

we would be like swans."

(Federico Garcia Lorca, Spain)

Photographic Work

Photography’s ability to communicate unique moments, inspired Marte Valbeland to create a selection of images during travels. She wish to convey what to her enrich the creative spirit and revitalize the art of play.

Although the photographs are taken throughout various destinations in Europe and Asia - the intention is to acknowledge an aesthetic feeling, more than a display of a specific place.
